HomeDelivery

Same-day and next-day prescription delivery in California.

A prescription nobody picks up is worth nothing.

Someone in a cervical collar who cannot drive, two hours out of anaesthesia, or working two jobs is not going to make it to a counter between ten and six. Delivery is not a convenience feature in this business — it is the difference between a treatment record and a gap in one.

Three destinations

It goes where the patient actually is.

To the surgery center

Timed to the discharge, not to our route. The patient leaves holding the bag instead of holding a piece of paper. This is the delivery that removes an entire category of after-hours phone call from a surgeon's evening.

To the patient's home

For the patient who cannot drive, cannot get off work, or is in too much pain to leave the house. Identification verified at the door where the law requires it, and counselling by phone before or at hand-off.

To the law firm

Some firms would rather the client collect it when they come in to sign something. If that is how your office runs, we will deliver to you — though counselling still has to reach the patient, so we will want a phone number.

Timing

What “same day” actually means.

Written as commitments rather than marketing, so nobody plans a discharge around a promise that was never real.

Ordered by noonSame-day delivery inside the LA County courier area, in nearly all cases
Ordered the day beforePacked and staged before the patient arrives — the reliable option for a scheduled case
After 4pmCall rather than fax. We will tell you honestly whether it makes today or tomorrow morning
Anywhere in CANext-day shipping statewide — San Diego, the Inland Empire, the Central Valley, the Bay Area

After the counter closes

The counter is open Mon–Fri 10am–6pm PT, and a courier cannot leave a pharmacy that is shut. But you are not stuck with voicemail either — text (310) 266-0682 after hours or at a weekend and a person answers. We will get the order queued for the morning, or tell you honestly that tonight needs a 24-hour pharmacy instead. For a scheduled case, the day before removes the question entirely.

Controlled substances

Delivered, but not casually.

A Schedule II analgesic is the single most common post-operative prescription in orthopedic work, and it is also the one where a sloppy hand-off is a genuine problem rather than a paperwork foot-fault.

  • Identification verified at hand-off, to the patient or an authorized representative
  • No unattended drops for controlled substances — no doorstep, no front desk, no “leave it with reception”
  • CURES reviewed before dispensing and every dispensing reported
  • We will say no where a requested hand-off is not lawful, and tell you why

Delivering into a facility is expressly permitted

California pharmacy law allows a pharmacy to deliver prescriptions at the patient's residence, or at the hospital, institution, medical office or clinic where the patient is receiving care. Delivering a discharge bag into a surgery center is ordinary practice, not a workaround — which is worth knowing if a facility administrator has been told otherwise.

Before you schedule a delivery

Five things that make the difference between a delivery that lands and one that comes back to the pharmacy:

  • A mobile number that answers — not the firm's main line
  • The real discharge time, even approximate
  • Where exactly — recovery, front desk, a named person
  • Whether anyone will be home for a residential delivery
  • Language preference, so counselling is in one the patient speaks

Where the courier goes

Same-day by courier across Los Angeles County, and next-day shipping to every other county in the state. Traffic is real and we would rather tell you the truth about a Thursday afternoon run to the Antelope Valley than take the order and miss it.

Your client is at the pharmacy counter right now.

Call (323) 653-4070, or fax the order to (323) 653-4079. We confirm representation, get the protection letter signed, and the medication goes out the same day — with nothing collected from the patient and no fee to your firm.
